On December 11, the Director General of Rwanda’s Clinical and Public Health Services of Ministry of Health Zuberi Muvunyi led a delegation of 4 people to visit China. They and Rwanda’s Counselor to China Lu Wenjie visited our Agency to choose the reconstruction and expansion project design for the China-aided Masaka Hospital.
Deputy Director Ai Yinfang held a working meeting with the delegation of Rwanda. The delegation watched the multimedia video of the candidate programs one by one, listened to the introduction of the respective design schemes by each candidate, and conducted interactive exchanges on relevant technical issues.
After careful review, Rwanda presented the preliminary selection opinions on December 13, and the final result will be confirmed by the responsible department of Rwanda and officially notified to the China through diplomatic channels. Rwanda expressed satisfaction with China’s arrangement and believed that the relevant plan reflected the high level of design and ability of the China’s implementing company and thanked China for its efforts to promote the implementation of the project. Rwanda will strengthen cooperation with China in the follow-up work, actively provide convenience, promote the early completion of the project, and push forward the friendly relations between the two countries to a new level.
Finally, the two sides signed a summary of the talks on the selection of the project design plan.
