Mongolian President Khaltmaa Battulga and his delegation visited the building site of China’s assistance project of disabled children development center in Mongolia on April 10. The Charge d'Affaires ad interim of China’s embassy to Mongolia Yang Qingdong and economic counselor Sun Weiren accompanied the visit.
President Khaltmaa Battulga learned about the design idea and progress of the project in details, he was satisfied with the rapid and high-quality progress, and expressed thanks and comfort to the project builders. He said this project will effectively help to prevent and cure children with disabilities after its completion, and it’s a good project to promote Mongolian people’s life improvement and benefit the local people.
Located in the city of Ulan Bator, the Disabled Children Development Center covers an area of 14,990 square meters and consists of outpatient department, therapy department, administration and training department, inpatient department and logistics service department. After completion, it will boast 250 beds and improve the medical care for local children with disability.
