Hong Kong Gifts and Premium Fair, the world's largest of its kind, kicked off Tuesday at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, with the participation of over 4,000 exhibitors from 36 countries and regions.
The 25th edition of the Fair, which continues through April 30, features a wide range of product categories, including wedding favors, tech gifts, toys and sporting goods, party and festive items, among others.
A new section called World of Gift Ideas was set up this year to showcase creative items and settings. Section exhibitors decorated their own booths to boost brand recognition and attract buyer attention.
The demand for glamorous gifts and the latest lifestyle product trends are among this year's seminar topics.
At the same time, the 5th Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair was held at Asia World-Expo, near the Hong Kong International Airport. The show, which also runs through April 30, attracted some 260 exhibitors.
For the two concurrent fairs, the organizer, Hong Kong Trade Development Council organized 157 missions from 78 countries and regions, bringing more than 10,500 buyers to the show.
